Change Your Custom Paper Sizes in Excel
Microsoft Excel can be used to design custom paper sizes and edit them. With the use of custom formats, Excel can save you money and provide high-quality output. To do this, click on the drop-down menu that lists the printers, and then select your printer driver in the drop-down menu. Select the appropriate driver for the specific printer you’re using. You can alter your the size of your custom paper in Excel by using the Page Layout tab. To do this, click in the Layout tab and select the size of the page you want. Then under the General tab, click on the button for customizing. The custom button will display the image of the page you have selected. You can change custom paper sizes in Excel by using the standard Microsoft visual basic for applications dialog box. To do so, click on the tools menu, then select visual basic for applications. The button’set custom size’ is located in the middle of the dialog box for applications using visual basic. Click this button to open the appropriate page on your printer.
It is possible that your computer doesn’t support the above mentioned custom page size changes in Excel. To alter the size of your document, you may need to download and install third-party software. Adobe Acrobat can be downloaded and installed on your computer. Then, you can use the program to alter the custom size of your pages in your printers.
You will have to install the most current drivers if you are using a newer model printer. In most cases, the printer’s manufacturer will have drivers. If not, you can find the drivers for the specific model on the manufacturer’s website. After you’ve updated your drivers, you should be able again to print custom sizes. Go to the Control Panel and select ‘Printers and Faxes’.
It is a good idea create printing preferences that enable you to modify your Excel custom paper sizes. Go to ‘Printers’, then click the tab titled My Printer Setting. In the updated preferences dialog box, you will have to click the option that says Custom. This will display the current setup for your printers.
